Blogging Task This week..

This week there is the task of blogging from the English language lecturers about mathematic subject and what is learned in it ..
and there's i can say

      Mathematics is universal . Many daily things in our lives use mathematic in the blueprint process. Mathematics is the basis of the exact sciences such as physics , biology , chemistry etc. . Because its universality mathematic widely used in engineering , economics , business , etc. . Mathematics has such a vast field , like Algebra , Applied and Analysis , each of which is a fundamental branch in these disciplines . First of all , Applied mathematics is related to the mathematical techniques used in the application of mathematics to other domains . Applied mathematics with respect to the use of abstract mathematical tools to solve concrete problems in science , business , and other areas .  An important field in applied mathematics is statistics , which uses the theory as a tool and allow opportunities explanation , analysis , and forecasting symptoms where opportunities play an important role . Most experiments , surveys , and statistical studies require observations . Second is Mathematics algebra ,is a branch of mathematics that studies the relationship between number operations , learning the meaning and relationships between mathematical expressions , and the other one , learn the special properties of the vector space and other algebraic structures . the last is a branch of applied mathematics called Analysis Mathematics that includes theory mathematics of derivatives, integrals , size , limit , series , and analysis functions . This theory is usually studied in the context of numbers riil and complex numbers and functions . This analysis was developed from calculus , which covers the basic concepts and techniques of analysis . This analysis can be distinguished from geometry . However , this analysis can be applied across a mathematical object that has a definition of proximity ( topological spaces ) or a certain distance between the object ( a metric space ) . The three branch build mutual synergism and build a strong structure that hierarchically called mathematics .

FIRST MEETING OF ENGLISH 2 CLASS

Last Monday was the first time english 2 subject held in 311st room

There is something interesting today , things that rarely happens on that “blue campuss”..

I Saw unusual crowd , all students are huddled outside , not yet got into the classroom ...

I look into the class,and i feel  Capacity of the class is overloaded and almost no seat for students and lecturer , and i feel anxious, this class situation are really not cozy for study activity’s .. , there’s some student’s outside, and half of student was decided to sit on the floor...

Luckily, outside there was still some seats left .. , some male students took the initiative to work together to distribute chair to the class .. one by one.. , leaving little space for students and a lecturer .. hha ..   , well as a student I Just hope that the problems of accommodation and class divisions like this .. , is not repeated in the next week .., because i thought airlangga university is not deserve to has thats  kind of problem

Class starts when the situations is conducive enough ,Mrs lecturer begin with some stuff about tuition contract , including lectures and the proportion of the contract value .. , there is something quite unique in the proportion of  value at this contract .. ,indeed,  Value of the tasks is  greater than the value of Final test.. , : D. . , i thought this is pretty good .. , because it can train the initiative of student  and make the class more lively .., and i hope i can challenge my self to be more active on these subject’s

In the middle of class there is a unique intermezzo .. , after explaining the  contracts about the writing stuff .. , Mrs lecturer  played the video about  the visions of students .. ,

so relevant and so real ! ! this video explain the actual facts that are so close to student life .. , some make me laugh ..

There are some things that are discussed on video .. , started by only a few teachers who know their students , many textbooks are purchased and only a few are readable , concerning students who paid but did not participate in the classroom , Lecture material’s which little relevant  to actual problems . .etc

And some mention of technologi that is predicted to promote a better learning culture .. , it can be a nuisance .. , in earlier times when study only facilitated by the board .. , students can focus more precisely because the board is the main source of information on thats  era .. , in today's information can be obtained everywhere .. , the virtual world is a place where all the free spread of information and whatever you 're looking for can be facilitated .. , but like a double-edged sword for those who can not use it .. , internet and technologi  can make disrupted and less focus on learning because the virtual world can made us busy with other activities .. , like youtube , facebook , etc. ..

And the core of this meeting is “not technologi alone can saves us , useful or not it are depends on our wise "
